Camps & workshops for youth

JOIN US for an exceptional FREE opportunity during Spring Break:

Main Street LIVE Invites the youth of Trinidad and our surrounding community to attend our spring break theatre camp for five days of theatre arts and activities!

This camp will be from Monday, March 18th through Friday, the 22nd, every day from 9am to 2pm, in the building of Main Street LIVE. Children and youth aged 8-20 are welcomed, and entirely for free!

Snacks will be provided, but students will need to bring a packed lunch.

Students are asked to dress comfortably and respectfully. Closed-toed shoes are encouraged.

Afterwards, on March 22nd from 6-7pm, the families and friends of participating students are invited to attend a free Sharing event, during which the students will share and perform segments of everything they've learned during the camp!

A student can be registered over the phone, but a minor's guardian's signature is required for the form.

SCHEDULE

8:45 AM: Parent drop off at Main Street LIVE

9:00 - 10:00 AM: Dance / Soft Shoe / Stage movement for young actors

10:00 - 10:15 AM: Snack

10:15 - 11:00 AM: Acting / Improv

11:00 - 11:15 AM: Snack

11:15 - 12 Noon: Voice / Singing or Creative Painting

12:00 - 12:45 PM: Lunch

12:45 - 1:45 PM: Screenwriting for film / Storytelling / Poetry

1:45 - 2:00 PM: Closing meeting

2:00 PM: Parents pickup (end of day)
